A video created by Michael Wesch in February of 2007.  Michael talked about about how everything is connected and his background in cultural anthropology during an interview with John Batelle.  From Michael’s blog, “I sent it to 10 people. Four days later it was the most blogged about video in the blogosphere and the wild ride had begun.”

If consciousness is an illustration of emergent phenomenon in a complex system, and the hypertextual web is a dynamic, self-organizing complex system that is changing and growing exponentially – when does it become self aware by reaching consciousness?
