This is a great light-hearted video about the challenges, trials and tribulations of homeschooling.
Most of our Founding Fathers were “home-schooled” (not schooled by a government school system.)
Just as it took courage and persistence to do what our Founding Fathers did, it takes courage and persistence for homeschoolers to educate their children on their own, outside the government school system.
In 1996 my wife and I determined to take the responsibility for schooling our boys and preparing them for life. We have homeschooled our two boys all the way through school (now in 9th and 11th grade.) We believe that they are very well “socialized” and they score very high on standard tests. Our boys take their science classes at Living Science Home Studies Inc. (a hands on study center that supports parent directed education.)
