I love great design and hate speed bumps. I don’t like being punished for the actions of that small percentage of drivers who speed recklessly through parking lots. Designers Jae-yun Kim and Jong-Su Lee have produced speed bumps that flatten if the impact is low enough. These speed bumps to be configured to flatten if a car is going under a certain speed. With these SMART speed bumps, only the speeders are punished!

“With these SMART speed bumps, only the speeders are punished!”
And maybe the contractors who install them.
My question is are they durable enough and designed adequately, to withstand the constant cycle of traffic and also how do they hold up to that or do they require a lot of maintenance?
